Mr. Rider began his career in the canning industry in 1951 as a production employee at the Canadian Canners Ltd. Simcoe Ontario plant. During his 40-year career, Joe worked with food companies such as Canadian Canners, Del Monte and Nabisco. He became Plant Manager of several Ontario operations - in Simcoe, Dresden, Exeter, St. Davids - as well as plants in Penticton and Vancouver, BC.
